storage batteries
Did you know that energy storage systems, like batteries, are not primary electricity sources?
Batteries don’t generate electricity themselves. Instead, they store electricity that has already been created by an electricity generator or the electric power grid, which makes energy storage systems secondary sources of electricity. Battery energy storage systems provide electricity to the power grid offering services to support it. Likewise, other energy storage systems, like pumped storage hydroelectricity, flywheels, and compressed air, also play important roles in the energy storage field.
